Congratulations to the school Geography Bee winners!
Our first place winner will have the opportunity to compete on the State level in April and the National level in May.
Since the first National Geographic Bee was held in 1989, millions of students have competed each year for a
$25,000 college scholarship and the honor of being National Champion. In 1991 a student from Nezperce, Idaho,
won the National Contest. He correctly answered the question: What type of landform is
commonly associated with orographic precipitation? (Answer: a mountain)
Will a St. Paul's Student be the next National Winner?

Grades 3-5 and Middle School were able to get new books for the School Library from the money raised through the Scholastic Book Fair. The books on the left are the new arrivals for 3-5 grades and the books on the right are the acquisitions for Middle School. What's really exciting is that there are at least a dozen more books than this we were able to purchase... Wondering where the others are? At the time of these photos, they had already been checked out!!

Decked in elf hats and shoes, our PreSchoolers carolled around the school.
With a "1,2,3,go..." Abby led in singing Jingle Bells, while Mr. Graham directed.

Last school year St. Paul's School, along with the other TVCS Schools, donated several thousands of dollars to Robonka to finish building their school, build a well and buy new textbooks. Click on the link above to read an update to what has been done with the money. Great things are happening!

Saturday, Nov. 7th, the Teachers and PTO hosted a "Thank You" Dinner for
CDA, CWL, Knights, Giving Hands, and Education Foundation members. About 50 members attended and enjoyed an authentic Italian Spaghetti Dinner.
Special thanks to
- Mrs. Hoyle for slaving over the sauce,
- Miss Fox for the wine and accoutrements,
- Miss Peggy for all the ideas, and
- Mrs. Gordon for teaching us how to fold fancy napkins!
Thank You, Patrons, for your generosity to the School!

What a party it will be!
The first procurement item was due October 5th.
The second procurement item was due October 16th.
Even if you've gotten your procurements, we could still use more items...So far we've collected 200 items, but usually have over 300 at this point in time.

Play games and earn $$$ for the school!
Family Game Night.
Does your family have one?
With all the activities that kids have going these days it gets harder and harder to consistantly have one, but when a board game is pulled out in our family, the kids' excitement is hard to contain!
If you are in the market for getting a new game for Family Game Night, or just buying a birthday present for someone, please keep these games in mind:
SCRABBLE
PICTUREKA FLIPPER
GUESS WHO EXTRA
CONNECT 4X4
PICTUREKA
MONOPOLY CITY
BOP IT
CLUE: SECRETS & SPIES
CRANIUM W/BONUS FAMILY CARD PACK
SORRY! SLIDERS

If you purchase one of these games save your receipt. Circle the item with pen, and send it to the office please! Box Tops has found another way for us to earn bonuses!! This promo will be running through the end of the year -- possibly longer.
Thank you for your support. It is each one of you that make our school a great place for our children!
