Boy Scouting at St. Paul's

Boy Scout Troop 160 is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus 2014.

We meet at 7:30p.m. on Wed. nights in the Youth hut (Rectory Basement), where we plan our monthly campouts, learn First aid, knot tying, and other scout skills while striving to become better citizens through service to others.

We play games, have competitions and educate ourselves by earning merit badges in many subjects such as Astronomy, Canoeing, Indian Lore, Rifle Shooting, and Nuclear Science, to name a few.

We have fun while learning to "Be Prepared" (our motto), and grow up with strong moral character through living the Scout oath and laws:

On my honor, I will do my best, to do my duty to God and my country, to help other people at all times, to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.

A scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.

Boy Scouts sponsor fish dinners during the Lenten season.

Our latest conquest was a 3 day winter survival training competition campout at McCall Id. where we won 2nd place!
