About St. Paul's

St. Paul’s School is the sole Catholic school in Canyon County providing a Catholic Education since 1922. The school was originally staffed by the Dominican Sisters. Later the Sisters of the Holy Cross conducted classes. The school was staffed by the Benedictine Sisters until 1999 when Sister Scholastica retired to the Monastery of St. Gertrude in Cottonwood. The school is staffed by certified teachers and administrators with assistance from the Sisters of the Mission of the Rosary of Fatima and Diocesan priests.

Based upon Idaho State Standards. The areas of academic concentration are religion, reading, language arts, mathematics, science, health and social studies. All students receive instruction in the special areas of music, art, and physical education. A foreign language component (Spanish) is offered to students in grades K-8. Technology is integrated throughout the curriculum and students are provided instruction in keyboarding and other computer literacy skills.
